Today I went tree planting for school. And I was digging a hole for the tree. And I thrust the shovel into the earth, and suddenly my group heard a squeak. I shoveled out the dirt and then we saw this little gray furry thing twitching in the hole... It turns out that there was a mouse in the dirt. And when I was shoveling, I hit the poor mouse. A person in my group, gently picked up the mouse and put it somewhere else... She told us that it was dieing, and that I might have dislocated its hipbone and shoved it's inards up a bit.... I feel so bad for the poor little mouse....
